I am 14 and looking for a job in the UK…?

I had my first job as delivering papers, but when I turned 16 my friend worked for Debenhams and I got an interview through her. I think I was just lucky. If your struggling to find a job try doing some volunteer work to put on you CV. A lot of people are fighting for jobs at the moment, even just part-time. I know loads of people who were kitchen porters in local pubs a couple of nights a week when they were young, so try that. Big companies like HMV and Waterstones are difficult to get into, especially if you haven’t had a job before…try some more local and family run businesses.
