How to get rid of the smell in my Eco coffee cup?

I bought one of those plastic eco friendly coffee cups from bed bath and beyond and i filled it with hot chocolate one day for work and i left it at work on accident(but i emptied the cup before i left but there were still some drops left) and i didn’t go to work for 2 days and i come back and its on my desk and i opened it and it just smelled horrible! of course being that it’s probably spoiled milk, i run it in the sink, and it still smelled. i get home and rinse it with hot water and soap and it still smells ): how do i get rid of that wet dog, spoiled milk scent!?

Make a paste of water and baking soda and coat the inside of the cup and let it sit for about an hour
Then, add a few drops of dish soap and a small amount of hot water and scrub out with a nylon dish scrubber. Rinse well, dry thoroughly with paper towel and the cup should be fine..
